I'm scared to test and not see a BFP, but I'm terrified of seeing that BFP again. The thought of another miscarriage is disheartening in the least. This whole TTC thing is way too stressful! What really sucks is I know I'm not going to be able to enjoy a pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. I'm going to be paranoid about losing it. It's going to be more stressful than exciting, I think.
Here's to lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas miracles! And to full-term pregnancies!View Thread

Happy Halloween!!!!! Anyone having/going to any halloween parties?View Thread
After 7 years of off and on ttc my Husband (34) and I (32) decided to try clomid. I just finished my first cycle 2 days ago and taking daily ovulation tests. I am very anxious. Does anyone have any advice? I have been reading blog after blog posts and discussions and just keeping my fingers crossed tightly that this helps us. My OB is not very informative and will be changing if I do concieve!
Thank in Advance

AF didn't even give me the time to test, she just showed up big time this morning. I threw away the last preg test i was keeping because i was so desappointed. I'm not as strong as all of you in here. I will be reading your posts but won't be as active as now... Will miss you guys.View Thread
The RE talked to me about what would happen if this wouldn't happen. I told him I haven't really talked to DH about it, but I would like to move on to IVF. He said they are usually shut down over the holidays so we would probably start in Jan. 2013. All of this could be a mute point if we get our BFP this time. However, I don't want to be unprepared if we get a BFN. The nurse told me we could take two months off and start in Jan. or we could do the birth control pills in November, but have a longer cycle of them (through Dec.). I would probalby just start in January and have the two months off.
How is everyone else in their cycles?View Thread

I ovulated really early this round on CD 13. (I usuallly O 18-23) Don't know why it's so early this time but hey! I'll take it! Really hoping for this round, as it is my last round of Clomid before other ventures. Anyone else on their 2WW? If so, when do you test?View Thread
This is all really TMI, so I apologize. We BD'd last night on CD11, this morning woke up and there was some blood with wiping. I've never had this happen. Should I be concerned? Should I call the Dr?View Thread
I'm feeling a bit better about everything. The worst part is over. Bleeding seems to have stopped and it appears as though I've passed all of the tissue. Honestly, that was the most heartbreaking part because I couldn't help but think that I was seeing bits and pieces of my baby. I think it would have been easier to get a D&C (though more recovery time) emotionally, but my body seems to have taken care of everything.
I have an appointment on Tuesday for a checkup with the OB's office. Assuming they clear me, DH and I are all set to BD and start trying immediately. My pregnancy ended so early that there's no medical reason to wait. If I get AF on my own (should be 3 weeks or so), we can start back up with the Femara. If AF doesn't show in 3 weeks, we'll do BW to be on the safe side then medically induce AF. That will probably be the route we go since I don't seem to ovulate on my own.
Since I know the Femara will work for me, I asked if there were any medical reasons why we would have to stop after another 2 cycles. The nurse said she'd check with the RE, but there shouldn't be a reason we can't continue with the Femara. Originally we were going to do 6 cycles then explore other routes if we didn't get pregnant. I think I'd rather do this as natural as possible. If I don't have to do IUI, IVF, etc., I'd rather not. I know that would make DH feel better, too.
DH is amazing. He's been super supportive. Trials like these just affirm that I married the right person. If anything, we're closer now than we've ever been before. I think he's a bit sad, but he's admitted he's trying to be strong for my sake. He tells DS, "Give mommy extra hugs and kisses because Mommy's sad." Monday, after the ER visit, DS would spontaneously hug and kiss me throughout the day and say, "I love you Mama!"
We're trying to be optimistic. Early miscarriages mean there was something wrong developmentally and are the Big Guy's way of saying, "hey, we need to start over here." DH says someone was looking out for us when the pregnancy ended very early. Another plus is that I was only 5-6 weeks. The longer in the pregnancy, the more complications with m/c and stillbirth. If it had to happen, I'm glad it was now. The best thing we learned from all of this is that I CAN get pregnant! With some patience, determination and a whole lot of BDing, we should eventually have a little one of our own.View Thread
I am on my 2nd round of Clomid (last month) on cycle days 5-10. I had blood work done on this past Tuesday (October 9th). The nurse called me yesterday (10/10/12) and informed me that my blood level was 7.6; which means I did ovulate. She stated that anything above a 3 was good. She then asked me when would I be taking a HPT. Could I be pregnant?
My chart shows that implantation is taking place today (minus/plus 3 days). We had sex on September 28th, 29th, 30th. We skipped Monday October 1st. We had sex on Tuesday October 2nd. My big O day was Wednesday (we missed this day by accident) but we had sex the next two following days (Thursday + Friday). My nurse asked me to take my HPT on Tuseday (October 16th) provided my cycle does not come on.
My other question is, "What is the normal blood level that shows you ovulated?" Thank you for any and all posts and comments!View Thread

I went in for my CD13 ultrasound and had follicles of 14mm and 12mm. I usually ovulate on CD14..that means i get a positive OPK on CD 13..last cycle i had one follicle which was 26mm on CD 13..and i was jus soo disappointed to know that the follicles were much smaller than expected this cycle..my nurse asked me to wait for another 3-4 days for them to grow and asked me to come back for another U/S..but i'm jus worried if they will grow anymore at all or not?? Can ovulation vary by 4-5days ?? Anyone experienced something like this??View Thread
