I'm going to give it a whirl and prepare for the worst. Hopefully I can make it through the work day, ew. I'm going to try taking it with supper to hopefully avoid some of that. After a week I need to add the morning dose in as well.
I am glad my doctor is adding this in to try based on my history instead of making me jump to the IUI, which is costly and much more invasive. How soon until you started seeing positive effects from the metformin? My doctor didn't really say and I forgot to ask!View Thread

How long will you do Femara before doing an IUI? After I'm done with my tests, my RE would like to try Femara (says I have to wait until October cycle, which sort of stinks) and said if we want to be agressive we could do the IUI right away... Not sure what route to go.View Thread

I'm frustrated with taking clomid with no monitoring for my dr so I think I'll ask for a referral to see what else might be going on. Clomid makes me feel so gross-bloated, full of acne, crabby....and it isn't worth taking if I'm not going to get that bfp.
Anyone else have better luck after switching to RE? What test will they do, I'm just not sure what to expect?View Thread

Hoping the RE I've got an appointment with can be helpful. They asked that I bring in all medical records so I assume it'll be at least a month past my first appointemnt to when I can actually start on another cycle.
How do you all stay motivated? I feel defeated...View Thread

I used preseed and the robitussin as well this month...so we will see! I feel a little odd taking robitussin so frequently when I feel fine, but hey it is worth a shot
I am getting frustrated too...we have already decided to take next month off. The high doses of clomid make me feel just gross-bloated, crabby, horrible acne, and I'm just plain MEAN! I think I need to take step back and relax a little. I'm not sure when to take the next step and see a RE instead of my regular OBGYN. I just don't want to waste time if there is something else that needs to be addressed!
Good luck to you! Let me know how things are going!View Thread

I know that with the increase in dosage it also things your lining more, did your doctor say anything about that? Mine didn't seem very worried about it but everything I read says that the thin lining can be a barrier to implantation as well.View Thread

It is new to me too, I just hope it eventually works!View Thread
