DH is now thinking he doesn't want to start trying again until DS is 4. That's about a year and a half away. He's freaked out about finances being tight (which is amplified by buying a new house) and doesn't want to pay for daycare for more than one at a time. That's understandable, but it will have been 3 years of trying and still no baby. We don't know how long this entire process is going to take. I know I have time, but I don't know that I want to wait that long. This conversation just came up yesterday, so we're still working through it. I'm hoping he changes his mind once we're in the new place and life returns to normal. We'll see. I'm not going to MAKE him have a baby right now, but I'm not going to let the issue rest without a fight either. Ugh...View Thread

This is the first time our caseworker has done an adoption and she kept forgetting to have us fill out paperwork. Of course, almost everything needs to be notarized, so it wasn't as simple as scrolling a signature on things and mailing it back. Very frustrating. Hopefully the end will be soon, though!
Keep me updated on the IVF process! I'm getting anxious for you!View Thread

The adoption nonsense should be wrapping up in the next month or two, so it will be nice to have that out of the way, too. Lots less stress during TTC. I may end up waiting two more months. I need to count out my cycles. DH is going away for work for a week in June. No sense in medicating myself if he's not going to be around to BD.
Long story short, I'm not sure just when we'll start again but it will be in the next few months. I've been back and forth about waiting even longer, but this process has already dragged and I'm afraid of how long it's going to end up taking! I'm just nervous about finances, really. Two kids in daycare is NOT cheap!!!
Glad to hear things are going well. It's a blessing to be busy in this process. The less we think about what's going on, the better.View Thread

Don't put too much faith into OPKs. PCOS is a hormonal disorder. If you read the information insert, it even says in there that results may not be accurate for PCOS patients. I have PCOS, too. I don't even use them anymore. The only thing they were successful in doing is driving me crazy. I NEVER got a positive, even with the digitals. I ovulated quite a few times, though and even got a BFP before an early miscarriage back in October.
The cramping could be another side effect or it could be your cycle gearing up to start. Cramping with AF was way worse for me on Clomid than a normal cycle.View Thread

I'm nervous and excited for you to start IVF! It's coming so soon!View Thread

I'm still on birth control at this point. With the new job, I wouldn't get paid maternity leave until I've been there for a year. So, DH and I will wait at least until April, if not May, before trying the Femara again. I want to make sure I'm covered if we got pregnant right away and ended up with a premie. That would be my luck. So, in the meantime, we have lots to keep us busy.
How is everyone else doing?View Thread
