I lost 15 lbs in the first trimester with my first! I threw up everything! I've been concerned about my weight because i've been in the second trimester awhile and have not gained much of anything in the second. But I think I'm still okay!
Hang in there about the food! I had a horrible time in the first trimester with throwing up and everything just sounded and tasted gross. The only thing that tasted good were mint choclate cookies. haha. It gets alot better and a lot easier! I'm 18 weeks and have good energy, and can eat all the things that made me sick in the first trimester and my meat aversion has almost gone away. I still don't like fried foods much though. So hang in there ladies it will get better!View Thread
I was wondering how you are doing! Sorry it's been so hectic, but like ATT said, sometimes its nice for the distraction. I had way too much time on my hands when TTC. lol. Good luck with finalizing the adoption and then again when you get back to TTC!View Thread
Oh no I'm not complainig! If you read my posts with Mrs.. it's actually something that I love! I was just saying I'm not sure WHY they do that many.. but heck I don't care! It's so much fun to see him/her grow! The difference between nine and thirteen weeks was absolutely amazing. I've got another u/s in two weeks, I'm very excited. I take my daughter to each one so that she can feel the excitement of having a sibling!
My husband doesn't want to know.. but I desperately want to know. It makes it difficult. I have many reasons for wanting to know.. and he has the simple reason that he thinks it's fun NOT to know. I will let him win this one I guess though i't frustrating for me. I want to get everything ready, have a baby shower, etc.. not have to go shopping after the baby is born.. I absolutely hate neutral baby clothes. Anyways.. we have differing opinions.. so I will just let him win this since he has been so good about everything else! All that matters is the end result anyways, one healthy baby!
I'm excited for you to try IVF. I think there is usually really good chances with IVF. In the PAIF, many women got pregnant with their baby/babies in the first or second round of IVF. My prayers are with you. I know it seems like it will never happen sometimes, but we are all proof that it can and will happen for you too.View Thread
It's so awesome.. I will have 5 by the time the baby is born. With my daughter brooke I had two - eight weeks and twenty weeks. I think thats the norm. This time it will be 9 weeks, 13 weeks, 17 weeks, the big u/s and growth scan at 20 weeks and an additional u/s at 35 weeks!! I'm like wow!! I'm not even sure why they do that, but heck if my insurance will cover it I love to see my little miracle growing!
Once again, I'm so happy for you. I look forward to keeping in touch in the PAIF boards. View Thread
YAY! I look forward to your post! I know you and sproutkm will actually post on and reply! haha! yay! I'm getting alot of U/S because they do alot with everyone where I'm going.. and I LOVE it! I had one at nine weeks and then at 13 weeks and I will in a oouple weeks at 17 weeks. I was SO amazed at the difference between nine weeks and thirteen weeks! The little baby went from a jellybean to a little him or her! I'm so excited for you and hopefully we can all share our pregnancy journeys together!View Thread
I'm SO happy for you!! I figured you were if the test was getting darker and they were still positive! I know it seems so surreal when it finally happens!! The U/S is the best part.. when you are able to hear the heartbeat.. it's priceless!! I'm totally being pushy.. and you don't have to.. but the PAIF boards are so ssssllloowww... I want you and sproutkm to move over there so we can all share our experiences together! And in the end you get to share your birth story!! SO exciting isn't it??View Thread
