Thanks! It took me awhile and some major breakdowns to take a big step back and evaluate myself and tell myself that I needed to just have faith. It worked for me. Hang in there! It will happen for you too!View Thread
Hi! I'm doing really well. I got my BFP last wednesday, so tomorrow I will be 5 weeks. I drew blood work and got the confirmation that I was pregnant last friday. Honestly, I didn't have any nausea, cramping or breast tenderness. The one thing that made my mother tell me I was pregnant before I found out was that I gained 4 pounds the week of conception. Some of that weight has left, but it stayed for a couple weeks. Must have just been water weight, extra fluid, etc. But it made my mother think I was pregnant. I really didn't have any other symptoms, and I'm still so early I don't have many symptoms. Usually I got AF cramps though, and with my BFP I didn't have any cramps. I don't know if it was due to pregnancy, but I did come down with the nastiest cold right before my BFP, when I normally never get sick. Maybe my immune system was busy elsewhere?? Dunno if that's a real symptom though. Good luck to you!!! I think what really really helped me was just relaxing!! I didn't use OPK's the month I conceived, we just BD'd when we felt like it and I monitored CM. Then I didn't stress about whether or not I was pregnant.View Thread
Thanks guys! For the record, I think the Clomid had a lot to do with it even though I took it last month. Clomid helps me ovulate the next month (maybe a long half life) but remember in october I O'd at cd 13? Well even though I didn't take the clomid this month, I O'd on CD 13 again. So I have to assume the Clomid helped somehow, because I never O earlier than CD 18 on my own.
I'm a little disappointed because my OB doesn't see patients until they are 8-10 weeks! So my appointment is not until January when I will be 9 weeks! They will do an ultrasound then. I've asked to have an order to draw my blood to make sure my levels are good.
I'm trying not to get too excited - I'm happy, but cautious. Hopefully everything works out!View Thread
I got my BFP tonight. I'm still kinda nervous, but I feel very peaceful. We're still going to be cautious and not tell many people. I told my mom and sister who have been through alot with me and thats all we are going to tell for as long as possible. I've very happy. I've had to sit and try and think about symptoms. I haven't had a noticable cramping, nausea, or breast tenderness. I am pretty tired, but the main one I think is that I gained four pounds already! (My weight has been steady for quite some time). Also, I'm not sure if this is a real symptom - but I came down with a nasty nasty cold last week, when I never never get sick! I will keep you all posted! To those of you on your 2WW - Good Luck!!View Thread
