Hey Maragayle. I have never had a doc straight out tell me i had pcos. I have never had tests run i dont think.... I just had the lap to check my tubes and eggs. he said he dont know why i cant get pg. Im the one who did research online and saw about the symptoms of pcos. I herd Metformin can help achieve pregnancy combined w clomid that it works good so i asked the doc about adding it. He said it can belp yes and he gave me the script. I dont have periods on my own just break through bleeding is what i always called my af. When doc asked me about af he explained what i was having was not af at all. So im assuming im inovulatory. I have herd a lot of women say clomid didnt work for them. That they needed Femara. How long did u try clomid before switching?View Thread
I was so excited when i got my positive opk this cycle bc i've never had one! We had been bd as the doctor had ordered every other day since cd 12. I got my positive opk on cd 17. We had bd the night b4 the positive opk and did while the opk was positive too. Still nothing. BUT my period never came. I took 2 blood pg tests one on cd 30 and another a week later on cd 37. Both BFN. So obgyn put me back on progesterone 10mg for 10days. When i started the first cycle i didnt start my mentstral till 2 days after i completed the progesterone. Today is supposed to be my 4th day taking and i woke up to Af. I called doc and he said to stop taking the progesterone that this was day one and he upped my Clomid to 100mg. Still taking the 500mg Metformin BID. Seeming hopeless.....View Thread
I am currently on cd 29. I don't have true periods on my own just break through bleeding so i can't really say whats normal for me. My break through bleeding usually happens ever 3 weeks or a few days more. I had some cramps a few days ago like i was going to start but have not yet. I took a pg test yesterday (cd 28) and it was a BFN. The cramps have gone. I had a positive opk on cd 17. Just wondering when i should expect AF to show her ugly face.View Thread
These are the dollar tree cheapies and it says they are 99 percent accurate but i took my clomid days 5-9 and i started using the opk on day 12 and got 2 lines though they were not as dark as they are today. Day 12 was the only day i got 2 lines up until today (day 17). I got this result at 3pm and tested again when i got home (1030pm) after holding my urin for 4 hours and i still got 2 lines but the second line is not as dark as the one in my profile pic in fact its very faint. Is it possible this was a false positive too or does it look like a true positive? If so why is the line already almost gone tonight?View Thread
Ok ladies i think i got my true positive opk today (day 17). I will go to my profile now and post the pic i took of it and u tell me if this looks like a positive reading. These are the dollar tree cheapies that i took on day 12 (2 days after finishing clomid) and thought i got a positive but people said it was too soon. I got the result at 3pm today and tested again when i got home from work after holding my urin for 4 hours and there is still a 2nd line but its not very dark. What does this mean?View Thread
Hello Leah25Brooke2 ! I'm so sorry for your loss! Hugs I was thinking the same thing but i believe it is too soon for O to occur as i just finished the clomid 2 days ago. The pain just came for a few seconds on like 2 occations and left. I hope it is a sign the eggs are maturing in there! Lmbo! I did take a opk yesterday and it was negative. Not too worried bc it is so soon. Doc says he thinks i will O between days12 and 18. Was told to start bd every other day starting on day 12 and to use the opks from day 11-19. I will take it today around 2pm as i herd its best to take in the afternoon. Baby dust to you!View Thread
maragayle I saw that yesterday on the post you made congrats! So happy for you! Wow 2000 is a lot! Phew i hope it don't take that much for me. The obgyn seems to be keeping an eye on me with blood work. I did take Clomid for one cycle befor but i have epilepsy and it made me have a seizure. I was not on seizure meds at that time though and i am now as he said he would not continue treatment with clomid unless i got on some anti seizure med. It did make me O the time i took it but it did not result in pregnancy. I remember the first time i paid for the name brand. I could not sleep i was up all hours of the night. With this genaric i sleep like a baby it actually makes me tired. I'm not noticing as many side effects either and i'm the seizure meds might affect the clomid but can't seem to find anything to back this up online all i can find says clomid can affect the seizure drug. The doctors didnt mention that it could. Shrugs. I bought the clearblue ovulation monitor (the pink digital one) and will start testing today (day 11). This is my first cycle back on clomid so i'm praying i O on the 50mg as i did the first time.View Thread
