lilman30 thank you so much for your response! It's crazy how God works, but i felt lead to get off clomid this past month, this was my second month doing the super high dose and my poor body had such bad reactions, it made me really sick and i felt terrible. I am taking a break and just enjoying my marriage. I am visiting with my doctor in a couple weeks to go over medication options for the future. It is so encouraging to hear how your body can learn how to naturally do it after being on clomid for a while. I am trusting and holding onto my hope. Thank you for the sweet word of encouragement. I know it will happen someday for us.View Thread
So... i took another one this morning and it was negative. I think yesterday's second line was an evaporation line. That is the cruelest thing known to man... I will try once more in a few days just to make sure, but i don't think this is my month.View Thread
Ladies, This was my crazy month of 200mg on clomid.. whoo! My levels went from a -2 up to a 36 this month and we were able to try right during my prime time. This morning CD 31 ( i'm supposed to test on CD 34 i got a very faint second line... i'm kind of freaking out and haven't told anyone other than my co worker, and now the web world how often are these faint lines just hope crushers and how often are they reht real deal? my poor little heart can't take this... this is the first month i've ever seen anything in that second line box. Oh ladies, how i pray this is real.View Thread
Ladies, Prayer works... and 200 mg of clomid. I got a call from my doctor yesterday that my levels were at a 36 up from the -2 they were at last month. Praise God!! She said i defintely ovulated and we had a good chance. I take a test next Thursday ( cd 34).. of course i jumped the gun and took one last night but it was negative. Here's the kicker, this could all be in my head but even before i got the good news i have been experiencing some odd symptoms. I have been cramping every day for the past week, my nipples are super tender and hurt to the touch and my lower back has beeing aching. I know it's probably just in my head, but a girl knows her body when we're tracking everything single little thing!
Thanks for the encouragement, and kind words. This was a good month with new hope, even if my test is negative next week.
This is our next step in phase two... 6 months of 200 mg of clomid and provera hasn't got me to ovulate... they are going to try another medicine combination on me and have me get an HSG... from the research i've done, it seems very uncomfortable and painful Any tips, advice?? thanks ladies.View Thread
Hey ajb2007! I finished my last round of 200mg last month and got two positive tests on cd 19/20 We "tried" on day 17 then on 19 then again on 21. I think if you time the every other day method your chances are good. Praying and hoping that this is your month as well as mine! although it's hard to keep my hopes up.View Thread
This month i am on a second trial of the 200mg of clomid. It wasn't fun taking that much, i felt a little crazy and my poor husband had to roll with a lot This month for me is determining whether i stay on the 200 mg of clomid because my levels are slowly increasing or if they put me on another medicine. My levels did a nose dive last month on 200mg which was very disheartening. My sister in law just announced that they are pregnant with their second child. Seems so unfair that i have to take 12 days of medicine to have a one day period, so i can start on my clomid to even have a shot at becoming pregnant. It's beyond me, and beyond my control, i think i just have to keep my head up and perservere. All your stories are so encouraging to me ladies.
Hello ladies, First off, it is so encouraging to see how many other women there are like me out there. I have never had a natural period. I am 25 and my husband and I are trying to start a family. My gyno has ruled out a number of possible causes for my lack of cycle and ovulation. I am starting my third round of Clomid this month. I was supposed to have started my period yesterday but haven't, so if nothing happens by day 34 i will take a preg test and then they'll start me on provera to force start a period. Then they are bumping me up to 150mg of clomid. I started at 50mg... Lord help my poor husband. Any encouragement on success you've had on it? My progestorene levels were only at a 10.6 this last month when they should be at least at a 15. holding out hope, and trying to remind myself how worth it all this will be eventually. Thanks Ladies!View Thread
