Wow, i have no idea what to do? I have had this condition for almost two years. I have been to multiple Ent's.
I have been diagnosed with a vocal cord fibroma. I have lost over 60 pounds this past years although i was boxing. like 5 times a week.
I started to spit up bright red blood about 6 months ago. I have been to the gastro guy for upper GI he says its not in his department. Been to the lung guy he says all clear but my cords are messed up.
So I went to a world famous ent in boston. He says vocal cord fibroma. But he does not thing the blood is coming from there.
My question is how the heck do I figure out where the blood is coming from GI or lungs because no one seems to be able to tell me. It is about 3 or four table spoons full and happens ever 2 months or so.
I have seen two common things: when I laugh and I have been eating like three times it has happened. when it happens I have to cough it up. Usually my throat hurts like for two weeks after and i have pn with talking.
Since my last episode I have had even more trouble talking and it seems like a ton of reflux. i have been on reflux meds lansoprazol, omeprazol, and pantoprazol they only seems to aggrivate my reflux. It htere other meds?
Any info would be great thanks I seem so lost:-)View Thread
