I have had cholesteatoma since childhood and have been operated on twice. The second operation has seemed successful until now.
The suregery resulted in hearing loss as the infection was the only thing conducting sound in my ear but after its removal I was completely deaf from my operated ear.
Recently, however, I have observed that I could hear very minute sounds like the ticking of a clock. The hearing has stopped again but I fear it may be a sign that the infection has returned. Can anyone tell me if they've had a similar experience?View Thread
