I am 19 years old and I believe I have an ear infection. I used to always get them as a child b but now they are much worse. I am in a lot of pain. My whole right side of my face is swollen. It even goes down into my neck and behind my ear. I can't sleep, yawn, eat, burp, or barley talk without pain. I have had this for about 5 days now and it doesn't seem like anything is making it better. I am using antibiotics, ear numbing drops, heat compresses, sometimes an ice pack, 800mg of ibuprofen and it t doesn't feel like it's working. The pain just won't go away. I don't have health insurance yet so I haven't been able to see my doctor. Is it time to go to the emergency room or stick it out for a few more days?? Please help!!View Thread
