I have a question: This past Sunday I went to the movies and had popcorn we put the butter on ourselves at the theatre (A Lot) Then that night I had bouts of diarreah, was ok the next day and then again today (Wed) have a lot of Diarreah again. Could this be possibly from the buttered popcorn? And could it last this long?
Last Wednesday night, I ate some spicy food (which I never eat). I did have loose bowels that night. Then the next day I was exercising on the treadmill, then went to urinate, wiped my rear and noticed there was blood on toilet tissue. Could this happen after eating spicy food? (did feel some discomfort in that area, also)
What are the effects, if any, are in getting your nose pierced? (not at bottom of nose, but on side)
I do have ETD for years now (with no solution- have tried many nose sprays) so was just wondering if getting your nose pierce on side would have any effect on this as far as ETD or any other effect on the nose itself?
Follow up- Went to ENT for 3 month follow up. Told him tried Nasalcrom for 3 months -no help with post nasil drip or crackling ears. Said to add Flonase to it. So now I am using Nasalcrom- 2 sprays in each nostril and then Flonase- 2 sprays in each nostril. Said to come back after 2 months. He had also said to add Astepro, too but I dont want to spend $ on 2 prescription sprays- this is just getting too costly and ridiculous after 2 years of this. He used light to look at nose and wrote down turbinate congestion. I think this is just an annoying problem that I am going to have to live with since no help with ENT.View Thread
Well. my primary DR said first to try just Nasalcrom and then after a month or so, add the Flonase. Ok to take both? Does inflammation from the tubes cause crackling noises and is this usually symptom of dust mite allergy?
Hello- It's me AGAIN- Just wanted to give you follow up:
I'm using Nasalcrom (as instructed by ENT) for about 3 weeks now (2 puffs in each nostril at bedtime) No change- ears still crackling when swallowing and still constant post nasil drip. Does this med take a while to work also? When the ears are crackling when swallowing is that because eustachian tubes are swollen or because of the post nasil drip?
The ENT actually had said to try the Nasalcrom, Flonase and Astepro all together-but my primary DR said I can just try Nasalcrom alone first.
I will ask my primary DR if I should try just using this and not ALL 3 ( I think that's ridiculous after I already have tried the Flonase with the Astepro for a while and did nothing)
Does this makes sense: I have hypertrophic turbinates (swollen) because of the dust mite allergy which in turn creates post nasil drip which then gives problems with eustachian tubes-crackling when swallowing)?
