Went to ENT for my 3 month Follow up. Looked at sinuses with light- then wrote down Hypertrophic Turbinates again (But also says what do I keep temperature at at night) Told him 69 -said too hot keep at 65 you'll feel better-mucus wont be thick- true? TOld him been on FLonase 5 months-no help. Said to try Flonase/Astepro/Nasalcrom all together- I have tried Flonase and Astepro together already years ago-no help. Never tried Nasalcrom- what can you tell me about this spray? I think I will go over this with my Primary DR and see what he thinks- maybe just take Nasalcrom It costs alot to fill ALL these

I see commercials on TV abour Mucinex DM- or Allegra. Could these help?

Im sure you remember me I've been posting for years with same problem. I have been taking Flonase for 5 months now-2 sprays each nostril every night. Still no help-have constant post nasil drip and ears still crackling when swallowing. Should I assume that it should have been working by now-have read that could take several months? As you know, have tried everything-had tests-only thing found is dust mite allergy. I have been on Zoloft and Seroquel because of this problem.
Can I please have your thoughts on this?

FYI
Well went to ENT for my 3 month Follow up:
Said to stop Astepro(used 3 months-no help)
Try Flonase again-2 sprays each nostril once a day
Also Singulair- I am afraid to use this as I read the side effects of insomnia, depression, anxiety. Are these real common? I may just use the Flonase for now.
Looked in nose with a light-wrote down congested turbinates, What does that really mean?

Well it's been 3 months using Astepro with no help with mucus or ears popping and crackling when swallowing. Is it time to say stop using it because 3 months later, no help.
Would you recommend trying the Flonase for a month or 2 to see if that helps? Also had carpets professionally cleaned months ago, new filter in air conditioner. At a loss, as usual

Just to verify:
If I have nasal congestion and post nasil drip (from dust mite allergies) this can affect the function of the eustachian tubes?
I also thought you said and my ENT said, you have to use the nose sprays for at least a month to see if its going to work?

Ever time I go to ENT for follow up, he writes Hypertrophic turbinates, Could you explain this as he just writes it down and does not explain. Could this be why I have ETD? Been on Astepro for 2 months as I have told you, no help.
Would Flonase be more beneficial for this? I know you say whatever works but I have tried numerous things in over 2 years.
Thanks againView Thread
