Hi all, I have stage 3 Rectal cancer and I have been trhough surgery and now am on my post surgery Chemotherapy. I have been doing some research and came accross with Oxy E Cellular Enhancer that you can buy through the internet, I am a bit reluctant to buy this in the web, but I am willing to try everything. Has anyone used this before, or know somebody who have tried this, your comments will be appreciated.
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I am just starting the chemo post-surgery so hiccups are new for me I am talking to doctors too, but it seems that nobody knows for sure what to do to stop it, they are looking at the antisikcness medications and see if that is something that may cause this, so they can change it, but the true is that I thought they would have known by now as I am sure I am not the first having this, I am looking for alternatives medicines to stop it now. I didn't know about the B Vitamins but I am eating well, I will keep an eye on that, thanks a lot.View Thread
I was diagnosed Rectal cancer stage 3 in February 2010, I went through radiotherapy/Chemotherapy and recently a surgery. Now I am starting 5 months of Chemotherapy (FOLFOX) Oxaliplatin, 5FU, plus a number of antisickness medications, I don't know what drug is causing this but I have a severe case of hiccup (non stopping) day and night, can't sleep well, and I am only in my first week of chemotherapy. Could you let me know if you know if you have experienced hiccup due to chemotherapy and what you did to cure it,
I have been diagnosed with Rectal cancer twoo weeks ago, I have spent the last weeks in the hospital going through MRI and CT scans to see if it has spread, so far they say it is not spread. I have to start radiotherapy together with chemotherapy for 5 1/2 weeks, then get a MRI scan, after that need to rest for a month and go under surgery to remove the tumor, not sure whether they will leave me with a stoma or not, once the operation is completed (removal of tumor) I will have to take six months of chemotherapy. Can anyone let me know if this sound familiar to you, as many of you I am chocked by the news. I have a 10 years daughter and wife (six months pregnant), my daughter doesn't know exactly what I have, I don't know how to tell her of if this will be a good idea to tell her at all, has any of you have to explain this to your son/daughter, your feedback will be appreciated.
