Hello. I had a colonoscopy and samples were taken from various locations for biopsy. All sections of the colon looked normal except for the ascending colon (benign colonic mucosa with lymphoid follicle), the sigmoid (benign colonic mucoasa with lymphoid aggregate), and rectum (benign colonic mucosa with a focus of coagulative necrosis). What do all these mean. Just the word bening scares me as you think of cancer when you hear bening. And what about the necrosis in my rectum?View Thread
