I am a 73 yr old male with this problem for approximately 5 years. I have seen 2 colon rectal doctors. The 1st doctor did not see any hemorrhoids or see anything causing the problem. The second doctor banded 5 - 6 hemorrhoids over a period of time. The burning butt after a BM persists today, especially when I sit down. I have been washing (no soap) my butt after a BM. Also, after a BM, I can fell a bulge or balloon like protrusion popping out the anus. Is this part of the burning issue? My butt feels raw. I have no idea what is going on. Have I not found the right colon rectal doctor yet? Yes, I did have a colonoscopy approximately 4 years ago removing 1 polyp.View Thread
