What's Happening Now
candy282... I have been trying for awhile now and I have been up to 7 days late and gotten my period.
I found also that there could be underlying stress I'm trying to ignore or am just unaware of that causes a delay in aunt flo... it happens sometimes.
Also, what type of flow did you have? was it normal? or was it spotty? That makes a huge difference.
If it's very light and spotty than wait a week and test again.
If you get another negative, than make a dr. appt to see what's going on.
If it's a normal/heavy flow, than chances are you are not pregnant (sorry). But, don't lose hope!

Some HPT claim to be able to detect pregnancy 6 days before your missed period but the longer you wait the more hormone you have build up.
If you are concerned, than you can try testing now, and if it's negative try again in a week.
But, at the same time you could be late because you are stressing out.
If taking one now give you peace of mind than go ahead and take it now

As for the stomach pain... it could be bad gas pains. They can be kind of sharp and burning. (I'm a long time sufferer of IBS).
Try taking something to relieve gas pain or do some low impact exercise. If the pain worsens or lasts several days than you should go see your doctor just to be sure.View Thread
My husband and I started trying as soon as we got engaged (bout 6 months ago)
A few things I've learned:
1. You will notice things about your body you never did before - which will lead you to believe you are pregnant each month
2. It's incredibly disappointing to think you may be pregnant and then not be and adds stress
3. Expect your period for 12 months (according to my doctor).
I went into my doctor and she told me that the majority of health couples get pregnant within the first 12 months of trying... so expect 12 periods before you get a positive test result.
It may happen sooner, but if you expect 12 periods before you get pregnant than you won't go through the disappointment each month when you aren't. And, if it comes along quicker than that's awesome!

Good luck!View Thread
If you have very heavy bleeding like that you want to make sure nothing is wrong.

You could be pregnant and you could not be.
Stress can cause your period to be delayed or even skipped.
And a lot of women skip their period at least once in their life.
However, if you had unprotected sex with your boyfriend at any point of your cycle, it's definitely possible you are pregnant.View Thread

There is also the chance that you did not ovulate and usually no ovulation means no period. It's common and will happen to most women once during their reproductive years.
Take a test and if it's negative, wait and see if you get your next period.View Thread
You should check ovulation time with Homecheck Ovulation Test Kit.View Thread
I have been TTC since December and found that any sort of stress can cause a delay in your period... super irritating.
Anyways, a lot of things can cause back pain - there is a good chance that the stress from the back pain could be causing a delayed period.
If the back pain persists, you should go to the doctor to get checked out. You could have a minor back injury - tweaked it somehow - and there are things you can do to alleviate the pain.View Thread

You should just bite the bullet and take a home pregnancy test.
If it's negative, than just enjoy trying more!

If your next period is "off" or weird, than make a doctors appointment just to check it out and see what is going on.
Good luck and I'll be hoping for a positive for you!View Thread
