they did a preg. test and it was neg. but i was still 2 weeks from my actual period...they cant tell me what it was. my period is acually due this week..not sure if i'll get it. my gut feeling is, it was a m/c - just very early. the doctor said i can take a preg. test now; that if it was a m/c, i might have some hcg in my system...not sure if i want too.View Thread
My last period was Oct. 20th. It lasted 6 days. I started BC pills the Sunday after my period ended. I only took them for 3 weeks then stopped.
Now, Im sure this is why my period is late. My question is, has anyone else done this? because I took the pill for 3 wks, will my period be 3 wks late? That was the first time ever taking BC and I was just scared to take it because of all the commercials of blood clots, etc...and plus, I want to get prego again in May, so I really don't want to be on BC (sometimes it can take awhile to get prego after getting off of it).
Im not sue to start my period till the 18th. DH and I had intercourse on 11/1, 2 days before I ovulated. We were not TTC at all ( I have a 16 month old and a 4 month old right now ).
So, I tested this morning, because I just have a feeling that I am prego, and there was a very super faint line. So faint that it was really hard to make out. Was I just to early to test? Do you think Im really prego????? That would be insane if I really am!
my DS b-day is: 7/31/11 my DD b-day is: 7/18/12 and this LO would be: 7/27/13 - July must be my month! View Thread
Amenorrhea is the medical term for absence of periods. Although there are times when a women will not menstruate, during pregnancy or menopause for example, any other skipped periods may be a symptom of a medical problem.
If you get a negative result, you are likely not pregnant. However, you may still be pregnant if:
The test is past its expiration date.
You took the test the wrong way.
You tested too soon.
Your urine is too diluted because you consumed large amounts of fluid right before the test.
You are taking certain medications, such as diuretics or antihistamines.
If you get a negative pregnancy test result, try retesting within about a week to double-check. Some home pregnancy tests suggest doing this regardless of your results.
Get blood work done to make sure you are or are not pregnant!!View Thread
