I don't know if this is the best place to post this, but if you have any info I'd like to know some opinions
My fiance just got back from Afghanistan and we obviously have been having a lot of sex. We have been going out a lot too so I have been forgetting to take my birth control until 9-10 at night. Before he came home I was taking it around 5. Ive switched to 9 at night for about 2 weeks, and a few days ago I started spotting. I figure its because of this little mess up in my BC schedule (i take seasonique and Im half way through the entire pack) This morning when i went to the bathroom I have this think clump from my spotting. Ive never have anything like it before. It was a think patch that almost looked like red skin. Very think, not very mucus-y at all. The texture was almost like wet gum. Very strange to me. Should I be concerned at all?View Thread
I'm 21, recently moved across the country, and I am dating a solider in the army who's about to deploy. We have sex on average once a day. Sometimes more, Sometimes less. Sometimes we use a condom and sometimes we don't. Im taking loseasonique so I only get my period every three months. I'm horrible at remembering to take it. In one month I probably forget to take it 2 or 3 times. And Sometimes on those days we have sex without a condom. You would think I would be freaking out, but I'm not and I'm not sure why. My boyfriend and I aren't that serious and he will be gone for a year. We both want to get married and have kids, but we don't know if it will be with each other. I really don't know why I'm not worried, but at the same time, almost every day I think well maybe I should take a test. But i don't really have any sympotoms. I think the only symptom would be that I'm unusually hungry all the time. I don't think that's a very solid sign, sometimes that just happens. I'm not sure when signs would start to show or when I should take a test, especially since my cycle is 84 days. I guess my mind is just not at ease, don't know what to do or what to say to myself. I should obviously start to take the pill more seriously, but for some reason its just not on my mind I know I'm only 21 but is this whats its like when people say "your biological clock is ticking"?View Thread
when is the earliest a person can take a pregnancy test when this happens? do you have to wait for the placebos in the bc pack and see if you have a missed period? also what about a 84 day cycle?View Thread
I know that the pill is less effective when you miss one, or don't take it at the same time every day, and when you're sick etc. And I know the most likely time you get pregnant is when you ovulate and thats around days 12-16. But how does someone get pregnant on birth control? If you have unprotected sex on the day you miss your period are you screwed? Or is it just the fact that missing a pill messes up that month's cycle? And if that's the case, how. Physiologically I mean. You hear a lot about when the pill is effective or ineffective, so I'm just curious as to what goes on internally.View Thread
I was supposed to get my period 5 days ago. I am never late, sometimes I'm early, but never late. or if i am its by 2 of 3 days but theres always spotting or something. Even when I'm stressed or havent eaten well, my period is light but always there. This time, no period at all and I dont even think I'm pmsing that much, which is usually pretty bad.
I was having sex before my last period, and last month i got my period for about 3 days. it was lighter than usual but still there and super moody. I've taken probably 8 pregnancy tests in the past month and all were negative. I'm truely confused.
I have an appointment for later in the week, but its seriously all i think aboutView Thread
