But, to answer your question, I've also experienced this. Mine was with the cheap .88 WalMart tests. I took it, waited no longer than a minute and then saw a 2nd line appear, only to disappear. I was so happy, thinking I got a but I didn't. I wasn't pregnant. IDK what's going on but maybe we both just got "dud" tests? I'd NEVER rely on the cheap .88 Wal-Mart tests, just bc they've let me down wayyy too many times. I'm sorry for your loss- I've lost 1 baby so I can't imagine how you feel. Hang in there. BIG HUGS & Baby Dust to you!View Thread
I wish you luck, I know the wait for that first appt is the worst wait EVER! (well, besides the arrival of the little baby, lol) GOOD LUCK!View Thread

So DF & I have been TTC for 3 cycles now. I've been using Fertility Friend the whole time, to monitor my ovulation and AF cycles. I take my BBT (basal body temp) every morning, and chart that also. So far, each month my luteal phase is 14 days, with my cycle being 28 days long. I've always started AF on the exact date Fertility Friend predicts, like clock-work. This cycle, however, I've still not gotten AF and it was due today. Also, my body temp this a.m. fell below the "coverline", but AF still didn't come. (normally the day this happens is also the first day of AF, which would've been today) I took a PG test last Wed & Thurs, both were negative. I've been feeling achy & crampy, but not AF crampy, just the dull, achy cramps.I know I probably should take a PG test but I'm just wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing. Were you PG or did AF just come late? I'll probably take another test tomorrow, but just wondering what you ladies think. Thanks much!

I'm new here, but used to be on here a few years ago, when I was TTC with my 2yr old son. I loved these boards, and found some amazing friends on here that I'm still in contact with. Now, I'm back with a HPT result question that I've never seen or heard of before, and it's puzzling me!
I've been having signs that I may be PG (been off BCP for 1 month, had + OPK to confirm ovulation), but I keep getting negative results. According to my O calendar, my AF is due next Monday, Aug 6. I took a test today and it was negative. (used a cheap, non-digital test). HOWEVER- after the test came up negative, something really odd happened. A single line came into the "test" area, stayed a few seconds, then moved up the test until it just went away. I'm aware of evaporation lines, but the test had only been sitting out for a minute or so, not over the test time-frame. I've had 2 pregnancies and have never seen or heard of this happening. Is it possible this was a BFP? If so, how/why did it just disappear? I'm so confused. I got really excited and now I'm a little upset
Any info you may be able to give me would be so helpful. Thanks much, and I look forward to getting to know you all!View ThreadSee Related Pregnancy Communities
