Please don't crush your Asacol, they are made to digest in your intestines not your stomach. I had several of them do that to me and the doctor said that it was not a big problem as long as the majority of them are being digested. Sometimes there is a little pin hole in the tablet that allows them to disslove and only leave the shell of the pill. Take good care,View Thread
Everyone's prayers for you have been answered! That is the most fantastic news I have heard in a very long time. Don't over do it, take it easy and enjoy your new found remission. I am so happy for you and your family. Take good care,View Thread
Hannah, I have tried that but can't seem to find out that information. I think there is someone on each community that I want to block. Hope you continue to do as well as it seems you have been doing. Can't wait to hear of your adventures in nursing school. I had a some of the best days of my life in nursing school and also working as a nurse since 1975 till 2003. Have fun and make us proud, you deserve the fun.

I am so sorry that you are feeling so bad. I know you have gone through alot, I have been reading your story since September. You are probably tired of hearing people telling you to keep a stiff upper lip when you feel like a clump.
Just try to keep holding on and I am just praying that your pain comes to an end. I just wish I could give you a hug to comfort you. You are still there for your children and from what I have read you are still teaching them to be sweet babies (you told us of the note your child wrote).
I hope that your doctors can give you fast relief.
Wishing comfort for you,
Hannah is correct. As is it stands right now, we are not going to die with the disease we have now, she did not mention the people who contract cancer,(whole different ballgame).
Miserable SOB will be miserable for ever until he gets a new colon or God takes him to heaven. Hannah was just saying that Miserable will not die cause he had a colectomy. Why he is always getting ticked off because he thinks that we don't care for him. (I keep saying 'him' cause he wrote in a posting that he was a male) Arbob was one person that was being so compassionate to him and it still didn't matter.
Stem cells should be used for people who are in life ending situations. Like children with Leukemia or MD or any type of cancer.
Apparently we are not supposed to give our own opinions unless we will make everyone happy.....no chance....someone will always think we are being mean for having an opposite opinion.
I am so sorry that Miserable is miserable and got handed a double blow by having a brain injury but please don't take it out on us because we are happy with just being alive
