My Story:
I am in my early 30's, and I was diagnosed with moderate-severe Crohn's disease and non-celiac gluten intolerance on 11/24/10 after 20 years of symptoms. I was diagnosed with fybromyalgia at age 18 and chronic fatigue syndrome at age 20. In my early 20's I had multiple Dr's tell me my bleeding was hemmeroids or IBS without even investigating the problem, so I figured it was not a big deal. Not until I was having severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, and seizures did I start looking into what was wrong with me. I have had a CT scan, 2 MRI's, LP, EEG, EKG, dozens of blood tests, and finally an endoscopy and colonoscopy.

I am on Humira, 4500mg/day of Pentasa, 40mg prednisone, but not anywhere close to remission. I am in constant flare. I am unable to work due to severe headaches, stomach pain, and fatigue. It takes all I have to keep up with my kids right now.

I have now had 2 obstructions that landed me in the hospital for 4 days in March 2011, and 3 days in April 2001. My GI is 99.99% sure I have Crohn's but now suspects scar tissue to be involved in causing obstructions.
