The past 2 times I have had my Remicade treatment, I had a bad reaction to it including: flushed face and neck and trouble breathing. They ahd to stop my treatment immediately and give me Benadryl in my IV. I was taking it that way the other treatmetns and then my new doctor decided I didn't need any pre treatment. Oops!!!We now know I ahve to have my Benadryl in an IV and not orally. It was scary but it worked!!!
Next treatment Friday. SO glad because I have not been feelign well the pat 2 weeks.
Anyoen else have a reaction to Remicade???View Thread

I think my uncle is doing the same treatment as you are. He LOVES it and it has worked wonders for him. Hope it does the trick for you!!!!View Thread

I have a new GI now and I am doing great. I took part in a Remicade study last week (one time blood draw before my remicade and got paid $50) so hopefully something good will come of thta for people later on.
I am not bleeding anymore and have no pain. I still go to the bathroom about 6-7 times per day but I can live with that. I still have weekly bowel accidents but I am on a Cortoid Foam now so hopefully that will stop soon too. Generally i feel good so I can't complain.
The best news:: I get off Prednisone completely in another week and a half!!!!Party time for that!!!!!!LOL
Hope everyone else is doing well.View Thread
