I havent been on here in a while and came across your post and thought WOW i thought i was the only one out here with this problem. I was dx in march 08, prior to my dx i suffered frm diarhea and im jumping for joy when i do go. See the dr told me that my crohns is in the stomache and the very beginning of my small bowel, so that is why the diarehea isnt an issue, constipation is. I have problems when i intake fiber, so i take fiber pills. To which doesnt reaaly give me too much releif. I also take senna plus everyday with my other meds to some what soften the stool. I drink plenty of water daily and my dr says im still dry. That part i cant understand. Seems like all the fluids i intake i urinate right out, it doesnt even help with the bowel issue. Earlier this yr i had the pillcam done and it showed a very slow motlity, too which is part of my problem with not being able to go. My dr and I are still trying to find out a way to some what get this corrected. Seems like there is nothing that can be done. At one time we did try Golytly, one glass a day, but all it did was cause more pain where im already having pain (my stomache). I am on pain medicine to will cause this to happen, and i know this that is why i started taking senna plus. But the issue seems to be getting worse then better. I dont think surgery is a winner, so for that i havent mentioned it to the dr, i dnt think surgery will help with my problem unless they remove some of my stomache. I do how ever give myself enemas (tap water) once or twice a week and find that to help with going for the day, i mean it helps eliminate some of the stool and at times helps it move on its own. But its only temp. i find myself back to square one after a few days. So sweetheart you are not alone,,,,as i thought i was with this issue. If i find out of anything else that might helps us with this issue i will keep you in mind and share! good luck!!!!View Thread
