I strongly believe that my body belongs to me and no one else has the right to say what happens to it. This is one of the reasons I am a member of the Hemlock Society. I believe I have the right to end my life on my terms and, when the pain outweighs the pleasure, that is my intent. I'm 72, but I've felt this way since I was in my 20's. I'm also fully aware that I might want to hang on kicking and screaming to the very end, but again, it's my choice. That thought gives me a great deal of peace.View Thread
