I'm so sorry you have had to deal with this kind of comeback from your parents. I have a friend that is like that with her kids and her mother was and is like that with her and the funny thing ( not funny ha ha) is both mothers are some what psychotic and don't even get it. So know you are not alone and the older generation are of a time of secrets, where all the dysfunction stay inside the walls of the home and is to not be talked about with others. I was very depressed a couple years ago and I felt like I was in a dark pit and I couldn't get out, I got very overwhelmed and would cry about my keys being misplaced. But I talked and got help and am sooo much better for it and you will be too. As you reach out, you will find others that understand and not feel alone. Do not isolate yourself, that is what I felt like doing but it made things worse, just stay away from negative people. Be blessed : )View Thread
