I have to be careful with sweeteners because I have a tendency to bouts of reactive hypoglycemia. I tried Stevia and Truvia for awhile and, much to my surprise, found that these do cause reactive hypoglycemia, so I had to give Stevia up. At home I use "Just like Sugar" which comes in a plastic jar and not in packets. It is based on chicory root, has a great taste and doesn't cause reactive hypoglycemia for me. Outside, I carry around Splenda which I use sparingly, as I haven't found anything better that's natural for carrying around.View Thread
