You do well on your own with your numbers, and the exercise will build muscle which as we know has better insulin absorption than other tissue. Workouts like what you are doing will help make your years richer, easier to handle, and in the end much happier. We all know that people in an exercise program have less stress, lower incidence of depression and higher self esteem and confidence when in social situations. Whats bad about any of that! Keep it up, and good luck.View Thread

So I dropped the white starches, which in my book are highly concentrated amounts of carbohydrate that will go to glucose at one time. Yes, I know people say a white potato is fine if you eat the whole thing, but I really see changes in BG when I have had that kind of meal. I also look at quality of taste in what I eat. What sort of true taste is there in the potato other than the condiments added to it. There is some flavor, but not nearly the amount I get from a piece of a piece of broccoli or green pepper.View Thread
