Just saw a recommendation for metformin in this discussion but can't find it now. I took metformin for nearly ten years for Type II diabetes. In addition I was also taking apple cider vinegar capsules which also contain chromium and also cinnamin bark capsules. I had to stop taking metformin for a surgery/procedure and found there was no change in my daily fasting blood sugar levels which were stabilized below 120. I spoke to my doctor about not resuming the metformin and he approved. I maintained the vinegar/chromium and cinnamin regimine and my blood sugar levels are still stabilized below 120, for nearly a year now, without the metformin.View Thread
