I took a break for a few weeks and only read here occasionally.
I have come back this morning and am sorry to see the same old discussions are still going on and on and on.
Is there any chance we could try to get back to discussing diabetes prevention and management? I am not interested in a chat board where we discuss our personal problems over and over again. We seem to be in an odd place on this message board.View Thread
No doctor will force any patient to take any medicine. I take some very toxic drugs due to my liver condition. In every case, the potential complications including elevated BS are explained to me.
The solution to your problem is fairly simple. Make an appointment with another specialist in the area where you are being prescribed the drugs you do not want to take. Go to the new doctor and ask if there is a treatment plan which does not include these drugs.
I am not sure why you need to have your diagnosis of diabetes removed to "restore your good name" What does that mean?View Thread
Denial, I suggest you find out where to pick up an Angel Food Ministries box in your town. It is clean, healthy food with lots of variety.
Ask your caseworker which churches in your town run the program. I have been a volunteer for many years. I would eat every single thing in the typical box and use my food stamps to buy low carb foods with the stamp funds.
You simply have to find a way to stretch your food stamps. Many folks have to eat less than prime food right now but it is fuel for their body and that is what counts.View Thread
