I you are carefull of the foods you eat andn eat at regular times, you may control your diabetes by diet alone as I did years ago. I wasnt too good at controlling my choices and had to go on 2 types of medicine.which I have been on for 14 years. Its not likely that you will have to go on insulin so dont be afraid. We all want to be happy Den and alot of it comes from doing the right thing. Maybe you are being too hard on yourself. You can treat yourself sometimes -just dont do it all the time. Is there any way you can get another car with the insurance money? Or learn to take a bus? I dont have a car and have to rely on people to take me places. Most are glad to help.View Thread
