The habit of eating with Tv or Computers or any night eating is a 'habit' just like smokers that have a 'habit'. Smokers need mints, gum, etc as a crutch to get them past the hand/mouth 'habit' of smoking. Us night eaters need a crutch as well. I have found shaved ice or crushed ice with only a drop or 2 of sugar free flavoring like used for slushies is a GREAT crutch!! it takes a spoon and a long time to eat a bowl of it, ZERO CALORIES, adds to that necessary daily amount of water and you can change your flavors to not get in a rut! What a wonderful way to stay 'busy' with an old habit( putting something in our mouth continuly) until you are ready to give it up?View Thread
