my husband is also a truck driver. i rided with him alot. i have found a way to do some exserice while he is driving . i set on the edge of the bed and cruchs by bending down and touching the floor . i do that 3sets of 20. i also lay down on the bed on my side and do leg lefts 3 sets of 30 on each side and i make it a point to get up everytime we are at a truck stop or rest area and walk around the truck and were we are at . i still get my rest . see in a couple of months i am going to get my cdl so i have tried to find ways to get my exersice in what i get in a semi truck as a team too. ahead of time. have him buy a cooler and when he is home make him at least a weeks worth of food he can warm up at truck stops when he or his team mate fuels.and some truck stops have fruits and fresh vegies . sugest to him to by them ensend of junk and greasey food. most truck stops now have subway and that is a heathly way of eating too.he needs to talk to his team mate and tell him or her what he needs to be heathly safe. he might be suprise that they may feel the same way.View Thread
