Some things I found useful to get my blood pressure down and stop taking blood pressure meds: 1. Lose weight (sometimes as little as 15 pounds is enough) 2. Walk as much as possible - mall walk for half an hour a day, early if you can - it's safe because there are no uneven sidewalks, cars, dogs etc. 3. Try a biofeedback device such as Respirate to teach you to reduce the number of breaths per minute, which reduces blood pressure 4. Cut out caffeine, at least until your blood pressure improves to normal 5. Cut out salty snacks and don't use any salt in cookingView Thread
