My Sister lost a lot of weight and is back to her teenage body she had from 1968. The strange part is, that wasn't her goal. It happened as a side effect to another goal.
She was trying to get rid of thrush. So she stopped consuming breads due to the yeast, and she stopped consuming sugar so as not to feed the thrush. Stopping breads and sugar she lost 3 lbs a month over time.
Not sure how much total she lost, but she looks like a different person 2 years later. Just like she did in high school.
I don't know if she ever got rid of the thrush, but she sure lost a lot of weight in the process.View Thread
I've been researching pubmed for information regarding Microwave ovens and thyroid. I did find studies into this, however the language is above my head.
I observed my own "over the range" microwave oven being at neck level. While standing in front of the stove below the microwave, leaning over the cook top, my forehead comes within 4 inches of the glass window of the microwave. Peering thru the glass door to observe the food places my thyroid within 12 to 18 inches.
Can microwave ovens damage thyroid tissue if a person stands close enough? ... thus leading to weight gain.
My wife is also Asian. ( Philippines) She can't live without Jasmine rice. She weighs just 98 lbs.
That's cool if you want to ditch rice for now, but remember the Japanese traditional diet, and the south Koreans all have rice with almost every meal, and they are some of the thinnest people on earth, or were thinnest before McDonald's made their debut.
Its your choice on the cereals.
Why is it hard for you to eat other things in the morning?View Thread
