TODAY, I am much more educated about diet/nutrition, exercise, etc. Unfortunately, I'm having an extremely hard time losing FAT which is why I started the hCG program again. After having a comprehensive spreadsheet done on my vitals (w/ an INBODY SCALE) my dietician (also a competitor in bodybuilding) said that although I had phenomenal muscle mass (been hitting the gym FAITHFULLY for 2 years now) the amount of FAT in my body was a problem. The ol' burn more calories than you eat just isn't true for everyone b/c I'm living proof.
I don't care what anyone says about what they've READ. hCG WORKS! But you also have to realize that once you've lost the unwanted weight it's all about completely changing your lifestyle... eating right and regularly, exercising, etc. But then again THAT'S WITH ANY DIET YOU FOLLOW. You can't expect to lose all this weight and then go back to the same ol. THAT'S where people fail at "dieting". The hCG program IS teaching me about regulating my eating habits and the shots DO protect your muscle mass! If you doubt me then just get a comprehensive spreadsheet w/ an INBODY SCALE. Every week I check in w/ my dietician and the scale monitors my muscle mass, fat, muscle development/loss, overall weight, [along with...> water, blood pressure, and pulse rate. I know for a FACT that I'm burning FAT... not water weight, not muscle mass, etc.
Bottom line, the hCG program is meant for anyone who is serious about weightloss (minimum of 30#) and is willing to sacrifice their old unfit lifestyle for a much healthier alternative. But you have to MEAN IT b/c if you don't you can expect the weight to come right back!View Thread
