I am glad about the new thread! Sometimes one has to start a fresh one *(as a next episode), or the old one start feeling like an old hair with split ends which needs a haircut...
Yes, stay on course, keep striving for improvement. That is my aim too - just trying to improve at the moment, nothing too drastic. Just trying to get more sleep too. The little sleep I am getting is the source of a lot of my overeating, I am convinced.
Regarding the cleanse - maybe it will work for you; I suppose you will find out once you start it. For myself, I won't consider it, as I am a little "feeble" in my will power at the moment. I can't do anything that will be a shock to my body at this stage, just gradual changes while keeping my body happy and purring along. Any big sudden change may just cause me to swing wildly in the wrong direction!View Thread

No progress my side. I need to look after myself better. I'm not sleeping enough (going to bed later and later again) and although I'm eating healthy food, I also eat too much of it, plus I eat too much candy.
At least I'm exercising frequently, which really keeps me sane.
Tonight I will set a bedtime alarm, so that I can get 7 hours sleep.

You may lack a lot of things in your diet if you follow this diet, e.g. protein, calcium, certain vitamins and minerals, etc. These deficiencies may cause you to feel tired and hungry.
How many calories do you think you'll consume on this diet? For the same amount of calories you could substitute some of the fruit with veg, lean protein like eggs, tuna, chicken breast and some skim dairy. You will still lose weight, but you would have far better nutrition and feel better.
For example, a wedge of watermelon has almost 90 calories. For the same number of calories you could eat 2 egg-whites, plus a salad consisting of spinach, tomato, cucumber, onion, radishes, celery, lettuce. Or you could have 4 oz of skim yogurt.View Thread
Just think that you are still better off than before - you are lighter and healthier.
If you can, keep exercising - it will help with so many things, if not weight.
And remember that most people (in fact, just about everyone I know) gain weight, even a pound or two, from time to time. Even the skinny people don't have stable weight all the time. They seem to operate in a band of weight, say 5 pounds or so, where it fluctuates all the time. The main thing is to keep calm when it happens, and try to go a little hungrier (not starving yourself) until the pounds disappear again.
I still have 7 - 8 pounds to lose myself. I was losing, but the last week I've put on just more than a pound. So next week I'll be experimenting with better techniques.
Nobody seems to think I need to lose weight either, but I've learned to just brush off their comments. I tell them I disagree and then leave it there, they can keep harping on if they like, but I ignore it.
Taking care of oneself is not easy, agreed, but it is rewarding and interesting, and it keeps you on your toes. You get to know yourself better in the process as well.View Thread
I agree with the previous reply - it would be good if you can eat a variety of fruit, veg, lean protein, skim dairy, legumes, healthy oils from nuts, avocados and fish.
However, if you think your diet is not all that comprehensive, maybe add a multivitamin tablet daily to fill the gaps. Fish oil is another good supplement, as are vitamin D and calcium (to prevent osteoporosis).View Thread
Maybe make sure you stick to the lower of your range (1200 cal). If you do that, and keep to your exercise routine, I would say you could lose between 1 and 2lb a week.
Your cardio sounds great, but any exercise program should also include strength training at least 3 times a week.
Some week you may have hormonal fluctuations, digestive issues, water retention, etc. and not see much of a loss, but don't get disheartened. Just stick to your program and you will eventually reach your goal. Good luck.View Thread
The fact that you are bloated and constipated may mean that the weight gain is not really fat, but "digestive issues" - undigested food, water retention, etc. can weigh quite a bit.
Are you getting enough fiber, and do you drink enough water?
It's good that you are seeing the doctor - always better to check.
Is there any chance that you could be overestimating your calorie intake? Also, maybe try to stick to the lower end of the calorie range you chose, say not more than 1300 or 1400 and see if it makes a difference.

Maybe you need to experiment with things to get the weight loss going. Are you calculating your calories correctly, so you are not exceeding 1200?
You could do a few different things in your exercise routine - a few different weight training moves, different cardio (longer if you have the time), or interval training, which could do wonders.
Plus you could tweak your diet so that you replace some starchy carbs (eg potatoes, bread, rice, pasta, corn etc) with other carbs like green or red veg; and make sure your protein is plenty and lean (eg egg-whites, chicken breast, fish).View Thread
