I'm not really sure how to start this, but as you can see from the title, I'm looking for a diet buddy!
I'm a college student who's having difficulties managing my ever-so-fluctuating weight (especially with the terrible dining hall options). Ideally, I'd like to lose ~40 lbs by the end of this year. Unfortunately, I'm easily thrown off track by stress and excuses haha So I'd really like to find someone that wouldn't mind emailing with me so that we can motivate each other, bother each other to go exercise, exchange advice, and all that good stuff! Please let me know if you'd be interested!
Happy Losing!!

So for about a week and a half, this has been a typical day...
-Work out in the morning before breakfast for 45 minutes; cardio only (burning ~400 calories)
-Breakfast: Smoothie (Blueberries, 1/2 banana, skim milk, greek yogurt) and one piece of toast = 300-400 calories
-Lunch: Protein bar and a banana = 300 calories
-Snack: handful of peanuts = 100 calories
-Dinner: Brown rice, vegetables, egg (I'm asian and can't live w/o rice) = 400-500 calories
-Work out for 90 minutes (70 minutes cardio, 15-20 minutes resistance training) = burning ~500-700 calories
-Post work out snack: 1 glass of skim milk = 100 calories
What am I doing wrong?! I've actually GAINED 3 pounds and gained 2 inches on my waist and belly! And it's not even muscle, I feel flabbier than ever!!! DX
Please, I'm desperate to lose weight!!!! So ready to just give up! Any advice?!?!View Thread
