Hi, I am a newbie to the site but not the fight. I am at a turning point in my life and I want to change. I am 52, 4.11 with a great sense of humor and a lot to offer but of course no one sees past the weight. Several life changing things have happened to me in the past 6 months and I am literally starting over with nearly everything so I figure it's a great time to work on a better eating and exercise way of life. I appreciate all positive help or comments and will provide positive reinforcements to anyone I can. Please help me, Thanks CiccyView Thread
Hi Annie! I totally feel your pain and have for 30 years. I guess what is different NOW is I seem to have actually told my mind and body that I am serious. I don't have a plan RIGHT NOW but I am looking for one. As a matter of fact the reason I am at my computer now is I was watching TV and an ad came on for "Try Food Lovers" system and I wanted to order it right now! luckily at 54 my brain said, "Sure Ciccy you are going to buy this kit/system and all of a sudden you are going to follow it." So I changed my mind and googled Weight Loss Forums and here I am. One thing I have actually told myself lately is "If I do lose the weight I want to lose I will still have all this saggy baggy skin so why lose the weight." I don't know the answer about the skin but I am ready to get this going. Good Luck and contact me if you want to. CiccyView Thread
Hi, I don't have any tips because I just joined but I could sure listen if you need to vent or need praise for an accomplishment. I want to lose about 50 pounds myself but if I haven't done it in 40 years (fat teen) I don't know if I can do it now. BUT I am going to give it one heck of a try! Good Luck to YOU!View Thread
