My Story:
I plan to reach goal weight of 145 lb. and become more healthy by focusing on whole foods and being more active. When I joined on 7/17/2010 I needed to lose 70.

I was active and correct weight my entire life until a couple years after the birth of my third and last child. I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism where my metabolism slowed including energy to all my organs for several years that became severe and serious. During this time I got sleep apnea from the extra weight and reduced muscle. I consumed a lot of unhealthy foods for quick energy according to the sleep doctor. Poor food choices became a habit that was very difficult to break.

I plan to lose excess weight and get stronger and fit gradually until I reach goal weight, and then plan to maintain. - Laura

225 in 2010 - going down 194 in Sept 2012 - going up 198 in Dec. 2012 - going up 211 in 2013 - going down again 7/7/2013 206 - still going down 8/3/2013 197 9/8/2013 188 9/20/2013 182.8 - 145 goal

I did 55 min aerobic/calisthenic/hand weight class, and walked 3/4 mile on treadmill.
