I plan to loose pounds to reach goal weight of 165 lb., become more healthy, and reduce my LDL cholesterol by focusing on whole foods and being more active. When I joined on
I needed to lose 70.
I was active and correct weight during childhood and early adulthood.
I gained this weight after age 38 when after the birth of my third child I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism that became severe. I consumed a lot of unhealthy foods for quick energy according to the doctor. This poor diet became a habit that I found very difficult to break.
I plan to lose excess weight and get stronger and fit gradually until I reach goal weight, and then plan to maintain. - Laura
