Wow, I managed to have a positive thought without being reminded? Well, I'm trying to be more positive lately, because it's come to my attention that I have a habit of being negative a little too much for my own good.View Thread
On all but maybe three communities, I keep getting an "error 500" message. My community is fine, and this one is fine, but I can't get to anxiety, depression, diabetes, relationships and coping, and a few others. Anyone else getting this problem?View Thread
I'll be honest, I am having a really hard time right now, so I figured I'd share some of the inspiration I've collected over the past couple of years and share it here. I've got the link for my "inspiration collection" as well in case anyone wants to read mroe. Most of it is relevant. This first quote is a snip from an article.
"10. Weight Loss Is Not the Most Important GoalWeight loss is the reason many people exercise in the first place. But it's certainly not the sole benefit of an exercise program. Bryant says the long-term goal of weight loss is sold too heavily to people starting fitness programs, and that can be discouraging. People have trouble sticking with something if they don't see results quickly. "Really, they should think about the level of functioning in the activities of daily living," says Bryant. "That can serve as the motivation to keep them coming back for more." So whatever weight loss goal you have when starting a fitness program, don't make it your only goal. Strive to feel better, to have more energy, to be less stressed. Notice the small things that exercise does for you quickly, rather than getting hung up on the narrow goal of the number on a scale. "With a goal of losing weight and enhancing health, exercise has to become a part of a person's life, not an afterthought," Astorino says."
Could it be just too much at one given time? If you have like two ounces of protein at a time, do you still have the dumping? I just ask because Pink says she can only have a quarter cup of anything at one time.View Thread
5.8 is still not so bad! At least it shows some control, instead of the numbers being way out of whack. The little face came from this punctuation mark : being typed next to a 0. Together they made : 0 or :0. I'm glad you came here to vent. Everybody has to, sometimes. Now other people can read your experiences and realize they are not alone.View Thread
