He's even participating in a weight-loss challenge at work. I just kept doing my own thing, hoping he would jump on the wagon eventually. I find that pushing these types of changes on someone makes them less likely to follow along. If they think it's THEIR idea to change, VOILA! It happens
It makes it so much easier to cook when I know he'll actually be eating it.View Thread
Hubby made me take a pic so I could share it!
Still can't believe that's a small!!!View Thread

My husband and I went shopping for our date night (we live on the wild side!). I decided to try some clothes on just for fun. I was able to wear size 8 pants and a size small shirt! NEVER, ever, ever thought I'd get to single digits and a small! Now, I'm not too excited...the particular brand of pants must run big in sizes because I don't fit in an 8 anywhere else. But it was fun to see it on the tag

It's still a little surreal for me, though. While I'm miles ahead psychologically than I was a few months ago, I'm still struggling with body image. I just cannot fathom that I'm that small yet. I still head for the plus size section. Or I'll see a mannequin with a cute outfit but dismiss it because, "They won't have it in my size." Very strange stuff for me.View Thread

I'm starting Week 3 this week...with a double jogging stroller and 60 pounds of toddlers
I can run for over an hour by myself. But add the stroller, and I can't even go 3 minutes. I figured the program worked me up to running before, why couldn't it train me to run with my stroller, too?!
My goals for this summer are to run a 10K by myself and 5K with my boys!View Thread

I admit, sometimes I have a hard time judging other people based on their groceries. I hate that I do that. I see all the junk in their carts and just want to stop them and tell them it can be so much better! Sometimes I forget where I came from...that my cart used to look like that, too. I didn't know any better...View Thread

I am seriously considering becoming a personal trainer myself. I've found a love for exercise and want to share it! I would love to specialize in helping women, too. I have about 3/4 of a college degree. Granted, it's in education but I don't think it will take much to switch over
Amber-have you considered writing a blog? You don't need a degree or to be an "expert" to share your knowledge! Granted, you probably won't make a living off of it (though some people do!). The only problem there would be finding the time to write

Exercise was the first question I asked! They haven't put any limitations on me as of yet. In fact, I just got done working out. I wanted to make sure some exercise was recorded with the Holter monitor before they take it off this afternoon!
This morning, my 1.5 year old pulled one of the nodes off. I got it back on immediately, but made sure to make a note of the time. I didn't want them to think I died for a few seconds at 10:00 this morning
