I recently took the plunge into stay-at-home mom-hood. I have four children, ranging in age from 1.5 to 17; two are step-children and two are by pregnancy. I plan to homeschool my two youngest. I also own a small online "boytique". (www.facebook.com/chunkydumplins).
I started losing weight in April 2011 with the goal of running. I started the Couch to 5K program in May 2011, graduated in August, and ran my first race in October. I've continued to run with plans to do a 10K soon!
I began weightlifting in April 2012, following New Rules of Lifting for Women. I'm loving it so far! While I haven't "lost" any weight in pounds since starting, I see huge improvements in my body composition!
I am also an instructor of a Run for God class at my church. I am learning and growing so much through this class; I love that I get to do what I love and glorify God at the same time!
Eventually, I have a dream of becoming a women's weight loss coach/personal trainer/nutritionist
