My Story:
. You have to acknowledge that you are worth the effort to get healthier. To accept the fact that you will have "splurges", but that they do not stop you from continuing your journey to health, and, that the numbers on the scale do not define who you are. You are so much more than those numbers.

Are you worth it? Believe in yourself, and your self worth. Know that you are better than you "appear" to be. Obese people are always judged by first impressions, and unless a person is blind, then that first impression is by sight.
A lifetime of seeing how that first impression reflects in others' eyes can be one of the first , biggest hurdles to get over. Because how we see ourselves is determined by how others see us.

Get clear of that, right now. Leave it behind you and push toward seeing yourself as you really are. Inside. No matter how much flesh you carry around, it's your soul that counts.
And everybody's soul is weightless.

Searching online for a support community was a new experience for me. I have found it to be an integral and necessary part of achieving my goals and for maintaining perspective. The ideas, recipes and life situations shared here, allow each and every one of us to realize that no matter how far apart we are, we are never alone.
