I'm doing great, losing 1.5 to 2 lbs a week, I'm in control making all the right choices when it comes to food, portion control and exercise, but I can't help to also feel scared for the future, when disappointment and frustration with plateaus and lack of wight loss might come.
Only a person on the same situation or that have been on a weight loss program knows how sensitive of a matter weight loss really is.
I know for a fact that I can do great but I also know that I can lose control, it has happened before.
What I'm trying to do now is to find strength within my self to keep going and not to think about what might happen. I'm trying to enjoy the present and celebrate every single pound I lose.
A mind is a very powerful thing, it can make it or brake it, and I'm trying to have control over that as well.
I guess only time will tell, I feel great and I'll try everything to continue feel this way.
Thanks for all the support

I'm also an emotional eating and that is very difficult to control.
Right now I'm on anti-depression medication and I'm very focus on getting healthy and feel better about my self.
Going to the gym for me has proven top be crucial, but I know it takes a lot of commitment.
Maybe u should start with one health change at a time.
This week could be eat less sugar and bad carbs, next week add more water and veggies and so on and so forth.
Change everything at once could be very drastic for u right now with all the emotional involved.
U can do it, u have done before, try not to be too hard on your self, we are all here to support u.
Have a great week

I'm eating very healthy, I ck the calories, fat content and sugar in everything I eat and before I buy anything.
I don't feel deprived and that is key to continue on my journey, I had been on diets before and like most of us I lost weight and once I stopped I gain it all back plus more.
For me it's all about making the right choices, exercise, get informed and of course get the support of all of you guys.
So thanks everyone and have a great week

Sometimes I need 2 full weeks to see a more substantial loss.
This week I was told that I should watch my carb intake in order to lose weight and for a moment I got confused and doubt my regiment for a wile.
But I came to a conclusion that in order to do the carb watch the way I was told (15 max a day) I would have to do the Atkins diet, and I don't want to do that. I did years ago, lost lots of weight but hated all the eggs and meat etc..., not to mentioned I missed fruit like crazy and gained all the weight back and some more.
I will continue to choose lower calorie food with low fat content, lots of veggies and fruits, drink water and exercise.
I will lose on my on pace, lose 5 pounds a week is great but not health, I don't think.
I feel great and even better I don't feel I'm on a diet.
The key for me is to keep informed, read about health habits and exercise. I read magazines and research on the net and of course I keep in touch with you all.
Have a great week everybody

Bit disappointed but I'm still happy with no gain.
Also, right now my goal is not a number of pounds, I want to get rid of that "tire" around my abdomen, and I can see is not so "inflated" anymore, and that itself makes me feel good.
I had a great week as far getting a lot of exercise done and even though I didn't lose any weight I made good choices trough out the week.
I have 3 boxes of girls scout cookies and I really want to eat one that is covered with chocolate but then when I saw that only 2 cookies was equal 150 calories I realized it was not worth it and I just had a bite just to try it and was not even that good.
Over all I fell good and confident that I'm in the right path, and I'm count with the help of all of you guys in the community.View Thread
