A few of the people I had met in Missouri had left their County and ventured further ... in all honesty though, not many. Nice enough people, but I'm glad I live where I live now.
I was referring to the jungles in southern Mexico before you hit Guatemala. Very dense and I was more concerned about finding spiders in my things, more than anything

But given that, you are in the service aren't you?

I took out some old pieces of material the end of last week and the machine and the pile are sitting on my table... *sighs* I am hoping, after this Fri. I can get past this interruption and move on! It would be nice to finish the scarf too!!!

When I was working in Missouri a few years ago, I was astounded that some of the people I had met, never, had left the County! They had never experienced walking on a sandy beach or listening to the ocean. I was shocked, then sad that they felt they were perfectly content not having left their little corner of their world... I can't imagine, living an entire life without seeing an ocean, listening to a jungle or experiencing the terror of commuting in Los Angeles during rush hour... O.o
Some say ignorance is bliss, maybe but I am so thankful I've been the places I have and had the experiences (well Most anyway
) I have had, there really is a "World" out there and it's wonderful and frightening to discover it. Common sense though, is apparently in very short supply if people think those signs were put there for the animals to use ...lolLorrieView Thread

WOOT!!! It's great you are doing so wonderfully. I would think there is something, at least nutritionally that can be accomplished to lower it. I did see the board Kim started, I'm sorry I haven't responded earlier, this past weekend and yesterday have been stressful. I'll do some research and see what I can learn... I'd like to thank you though for your encouragement and excellent example that we all can do this!!!LorrieView Thread

I have the same problem with threading the needle on the machine. I have 2 pairs of glasses one for just that task.
My crocheting is coming along and I'll have to get some more yard this next month, so I might post a pic of the scarf when I get it finished so I can update my personal pic at the same time

Hugs..

Sorry for not getting back with you, this past weekend has been a bear. About the fabric.. O.o I'd LOVE to be able to get my hands on any of it!!!! I look for fabric sales all the time when I can.
An idea about the light..... in Alaska we sometimes used the automotive clamp on flood lights for under the hood to keep the engine warm so it wouldn't freeze up. They are very easy to use and use larger bulbs. Here's a link for one from Home depot for $9.00 : http://www.homedepot.com/Electrical-Electrical-Tools-Accessories-Work-Lights-Clamp-On-Hand-Helds-Stand-Up/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbm7i/R-100354511/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=2&langId=-1&storeId=10051
It might help and you can adjust it to where you need it most.
Hope that idea helps...
