So nice to be able to stop in here! I finally have 4 bars of wifi and can get on the site. But I have little faith it will last if past performance is any prediction of future. No service is an epidemic in my neighborhood at the moment.
Glad to hear your DH has gotten so much better, Tweety! This must have been so scary for you.
I see you ate in reverse today Kim! Maybe that would be a cool diet fad. Why do we eat certain foods at designated times of the day.? It would make sense to eat the heaviest meal first because you could have all day to digest it. Something for me to think about.
Holly, sorry about the broken arm. That must be such a drag for a kid to put up with. Hopefully it won't stop any swimming when it gets super hot.
Hi Everyone! I've been having frustrating trouble with my wifi internet connection, so until the issues are corrected, it is really hard to get here. I can use Judy's site with my phone so that's where I've been hanging out for the time being. I have a feeling that as long as my apartment dwellers are pulling on the connection from their direction, the signal I get will be too weak. They should be in their house in the beginning of June I think, so as Arnold would say... "I'll be back!"View Thread
Thanks for the May Basket, Kim. I had forgotten the day. I had never heard of them here in New England until a neighbor from Iowa introduced me to them a few years back, and what a wonderful surprise to have someone hang it on the knob, ring the doorbell, then run and hide. You MidWesterners sure know how to have fun! xoxoView Thread
Oh and it let me dodge the Chinese bullet, because DH went across the way and got Chinese which is a salt nightmare for me. I like the taste but despise the after effect, so it's almost never ever worth it.View Thread
This is a trick photo. All of that bounty just tumbled out of God's green earth, but somebody else shoved those raspberries into that half of melon!
I had pizza last night, but a better version of pizza. You would almost sorta approve Judy. It was personal sized. There is a thin circle of crust. Tomato sauce on top and it is baked. Here comes the good part...on top of that, while it is still slightly warm, goes a load of SALAD! Romaine, curly escarole, onion, tomato, cucumber, black olives. And you add a bit of olive oil and vinegar to finish it off. You start by using your fork on the salad, but as it gets eaten a bit, you can pick up a slice with some salad on it and use your hands. Soooo yummy!View Thread
