That is so true about your ankle Judy. You make a good point about nagging injuries and I am listening! I'm going to start logging my food again on my Lose It app. I've let that slide this summer and I can see the difference.View Thread

Roh you are absolutely correct and I apologize for my insensitivity in this case. Today I have the utmost empathy and respect for someone who has the determination and courage to undergo gender reassignment. In 1970 we had never heard of such a thing and Renee Richards quickly became very high profile because she immediately sued to be allowed to compete on the women's professional tennis circuit. She was a powerful 6'2" and this created the appearance of unfairness at the time. It was a media super storm. This doesn't diminish the enormous leap she had to make and the profound effect she must have had on others who felt they were trapped in the wrong gender.View Thread
Is there an epidemic of looney eye doctors? I saw one fellow in the early 1970's who gave up his practice and became a female professional tennis player. He became quite famous in the tabloid circles and I think he won a lot of matches. The old folks here might remember him. View Thread
Hi guys! I got good news today from the doctor! I've been worried sick because some big eye specialist told me that what he was seeing with my eyes probably meant I had lung cancer!. WHAT? My local GP thought it was nonsense and sent me on to other doctors, but the result was I had some special X-rays done this week and finally got the results that My lungs are normal. It's a big relief, let me tell you. Meanwhile this worry was eating at me for over a month and I definitely tend to eat my anxiety away. I gave myself a pass, but I sure have some work to do now!
Oh man Michelle, 90's are not appealing to me. I just opened the window because it's 70 in here and it's TOO HOT! Maybe I'd better rethink ever living in Florida . California is too scary on way too many levels. You guys have nerves of steel! Hahaha!View Thread
Good grief Michelle! Do you live in the desert? I have never experienced 108 degrees and I never want that experience! It's freezing in New England! And it's still Summer! My knees woke up today and screamed, "It's February!"View Thread
Checking in. I too love soup but unfortunately you need some salt to make it palatable. It's always good to watch that sodium content! In a salt free world I would have soup for lunch every day View Thread
