My Story:
(Wow, could have sworn I saved my story already.) Here goes...I'll be 49 later this year (2013), and I've been overweight since about age 7 or 8. Technically I should be posting in the next community because I have over 100 lbs to lose, but I've been welcomed here, and this is a lively board with a great bunch of people here!

I would love to be a normal weight before I die! I've noticed over the last few years how everything in day-to-day living is getting harder to do, and I have a knee that bothers me a lot, and now my back is bothering me much more often. I need to start believing change is possible, and, even though I've been overweight about all of my life, that doesn't mean I can't become healthy now.

I have also noticed that I bypass a lot of activities with friends and I hide from life a lot more than I used to mainly due to my weight issue. And, honestly? I'm not enjoying life much at all anymore. I have decided that it's time to find different coping strategies and kick this food addiction.

Thanks for "listening!"
