The fracture area rather feels tender and vulnerable (and clumsy), but it does not ache in a nagging way.
It hurts though when you twist or bump it hard (impact), but your instincts will be to keep it out of harm's way. Just try not to sleep on that wrist if you can, once the cast is off.View Thread

You are doing the right thing to keep on with what exercise you can do, and trying to find inner strength.
And as for calories... well, I'm struggling with the same. I have a marvelous plan in the morning, but then I veer off this route during the day. Let's just keep improving, even if slowly!View Thread

In the old days I think they did not snack as much, even though their meals were substantial, and like you say, they did not just sit all day long.
We should really aim to stay away from the sugar and stodge!View Thread

But I think that with practice one can maybe reach a point where you can almost plan your indulgences, and afterwards also get back into your good eating easier and more instantly.View Thread

Or I go to the gym, which is probably better.
Housework (cleaning) is another option! When I feel bored I start cleaning things that I have been neglecting, like shoes, sports shoes, gym bag, hairbrushes, fridge, oven, whatever. Not mentally stimulating, but at least it involves movement.
Good idea to make batches of soup, so that you are prepared for snack attacks.View Thread

I have to get those bonito flakes (dried fish for those who are not familiar with them), as they make a huge difference to the taste.View Thread

But when it comes to dieting, I change it to Just Don't Do It. It is what I Do rather what I Don't Do, that is causing the most damage (like eating the whole roll of candy).
Just Don't Buy the wrong food, Jus't Don't carry the wrong snacks in your handbag, Just Don't keep your jaws moving when you are on the computer, Just Don't eat candy late at night when reading in bed - all these apply to me!
You may have a different Just Don't Do It for yourself. I have to remind myself that if I can just practise mine long enough, it will eventually become automatic Not To Do It (but I'm not there yet!).View Thread

That's where a healthy, fairly low-cal soup is a very good and warming standy-by to have.
In winter I also drink low-cal hot chocolate as it seems to warm me for not too much calorie damage.
I remember the feeling of pants falling down from way back in the past, but it doesn't feature in my latest dressing experiences!View Thread
